d'art!   o Our final and finest Hammy-award winning CD is here! It's got 14 songs and is called d'art, pronounced 'dart' or, if you prefer the French, 'daaaaaaaaarrrrrt'! (Thanks, Tom.) We worked on it for about 18 months and we're very pleased with it. The songs are great, the production kicks ass and the packaging, as always, is a thing to behold. Truly, it is the Album of the New Millennium and we're sure you should love it. It sounds fantastic, the lyrics are dense and allusive, it's too-clever-by-half and it ROCKS--just like us, but in convenient digital form. One reviewer called it 'an embarrassment of riches' and we believe that's at least half-right...

Like all our merch, it was once available at our no-longer-numerous shows, but is STILL available online from CDBaby and Nook & Cranny Records or by simply mailing us a check or MO for $10, which includes postage and 'handling' (and just what the hell is 'handling', anyway?!).

 
o And as if d'art was not fantastic enough, we also released another new album at the same time: Pricksongs & Descants! We figured as long as the 1900s were coming to a close we should put out all the cool, weird and idiotic stuff we had lying around in the PC Vaults. So we put together this 19song collection of old tracks, new tracks, some covers we recorded for comps and a few nutty studio experiments. It's like a collection of B-sides, except that we don't have any A-sides. And it's all packaged in another glorious handmade sleeve--an instant collector's item! PC Covers It Up!   o Our second CD PopCanon Covers It Up! is still available. It's a 6song EP of us covering the songs of some of our favorite Florida bands: Squeaky, the Great Big New Ones and the Causey Way, plus we pay homage to our heroes Clang and the everpopular Sister Hazel... all for you, and all for only $5!!

Each CD is lovingly encased in a unique handcrafted cardboard case--really! You can get it directly from < us @ popcanon dot com > or from Nook & Cranny Records.

Throw a check in the mail to us, however, and we'll get it to you along with a shiny new puppy! (WARNING: Puppy is neither shiny nor new, nor likely to be alive.)

 
o Our debut CD The Kingdom of Idiot Rock, v1.0 is no longer available in its original form. But we still have Version 2.0 available -- digitally remastered, in redesigned packaging and with 3 bonus tracks!

And if you really dig around, you might even find them in the used bin of some smalltown music store somewhere! If you do find one, by all means pick it up, save yourself some dough. But please drop us a line and let us know where you found it, so we can find the loser who sold it and harass them... As you know, we will absolutely email the living shit out of someone to get our way...
